Music helps people connect with your brand. That's a fact. Music can be used to create an emotional bond you can use to influence customer behaviour such as increase spending, length of stay and encourage brand loyalty.
In 2009 Entertainment Media Research conducted extensive research into the impact of music on businesses. The results of this initial research show that the vast majority of consumers and employees like hearing music, and that a business using it creates a better atmosphere and impression of itself.
The survey also shows that using music in businesses and in public places can generate positive results for companies and for the people working in them. Some highlights from the survey:
