1. Understand your guests’ taste in music

2. Design a playlist that flows

3. Be prepared with the right equipment

4. Nominate an iPod monitor (this is important!)
Ideally the iPod needs to be locked away in another room! People see an iPod and instantly think they’re a DJ (especially after a few cocktails). You’ve spent days putting together your carefully curated playlist then uncle Bob comes along and starts playing the Macarena or just something that doesn’t fit in with the groove of your night. Disaster! Of course you can wipe your iPod clean and simply have the wedding playlist on it.
